| The Kage’s office is the only “tipi” with a flag of a wolf, which is a guide, and the wolf represents all departed men, making the wolf their brother. It is a little larger than the average home, because it needs to have a separate room for the secretary. Mission Board | 0 | 0 | | | This mountain is used for sacred purposes only. This area represents a person’s Village Quest. A person must walk up the mountain, praying, fasting, and purifying themselves until they reach the top. Once they reach the top, they will be visited by a guardian spirit, which tells the person his or her goal in life. Note that this ritual occurs at puberty, therefore a villager who is older than 15 must state in their history how they attained their goal in life.

A sweat lodge looks like a large, slightly rectangular, building; made up of wood covered in animal skins, canvas, or blankets. A hole is dug in the bottom of the building where hot stones are placed. Water is poured onto the rocks to create steam. A small flap is made as a door to enter in, and to allow for temperature regulation. Only twelve people can be in this area at one time.

Animals gather to drink this water, and so do the villagers. It is said that the water has been blessed by the spirits as holy water and for it only to be used in the sweat lodge rituals and for purifying purposes. Teens may gather this water as they travel towards their village quest.

The males hook themselves to the pole and dance in the circle. The scars that appear on their bodies afterwards symbolize their dedication to their village. This can also be used as a sparring arena.

Its four main roots extend in all four directions of the earth to embrace the people of the earth. The tree is guarded by an eagle, the closest of animals to the heavens; it watches over the citizens to make sure everything is as it should.
